Peter Wood is a magician, showman, and “Collector of the Impossible.”  When not performing, he designs and builds tables, cases, props, and secret devices for performers in his Impossible Workshop.

Fully equipped for theatrical prop building, Peter’s Impossible Workshop specializes in woodworking, but also crafts items utilizing plastic, metal, cloth, paint, LEDs, servos, CAD, and more.

In 2021, Peter Wood appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us with several of his creations.  Teller praised “I love your set, it feels like I’m seeing a real show,” while actor, producer, and maker Alyson Hannigan commented “Your props are beautiful!”

Off-stage, Peter’s combination of magical thinking and fabrication know-how have allowed him to consult, design, and build for a variety of motion picture and theatrical productions.  Items from the Impossible Workshop have appeared in film festivals, on national television, and on stages in Las Vegas, Sweden, Brunei, New York, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
